The endless cycle

Sunday night.

Same routine every week. A reminder that there’s never enough time to get everything done. A reminder that yet another week will pass, the same as the last. Go. Go. Go.

Bath time. Book time. Good night to one. Bath time, then rock, and rock, and rock. Darn, missing the Simpsons.

Need to wash the daycare sheets. Need to get the bottles ready. Need to pump. Lay out your clothes, or you’ll be late. What will we pack for lunches? Did I remember to pack my pump accessories? Are his shoes in the car? Just throw in one.more.load. Holy clothes to fold. Leave them.

Don’t forget the alarm. Oh darn, take out meat for tomorrow. Do we have enough milk? Damn, I’m’ missing Family Guy. Do we need to label diapers? Did you write the daycare check? I have no clean underwear. ONE.MORE.LOAD.

Aaaaaaaand crash. We’ll do it all again in a week.

About Krista

Livin the poor life with the typical american family; husband, baby, and dogs. Happy to tell it like it is, the ins and outs of being a young, hip mom can be more hilarious than one might think ;)
